THE OFFICE of

HRH CROWN PRINCE

A L E X A N D E R

HRH Crown Prince Alexander received several dozen representatives of domestic and international media in Belgrade today. In a very friendly and open conversation His Royal Highness answered all the questions put to him, emphasising that this is only the beginning of the cordial relationship he hopes to develop between himself and the media in this country.

“I am happy to be in my home. Last night I did not sleep here, but I hope it will happen soon. We are still getting familiarised with the situation and conditions at the Palace. There are many things that need repairing and bringing up to date, from telecommunications to the kitchen. But the most important thing is that we are finally in our country, with our people”, HRH Crown Prince Alexander told the media. Their Royal Highnesses are making every attempt to make their home in the Palaces so that young Princes Peter, Philip and Alexander can come as soon as possible.

Many television crews recorded the moment when the Crown Prince with his wife Crown Princess Katherine stepped out to the terrace of the Royal Palace (basking in the  sunshine at the time) to greet again the media representatives who for the first time in such numbers in the last fifty years witnessed an event in the Karadjordjevic family’s Dedinje Palace.
