Holy Liturgy at monastery Vavedenje

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine were present today at the Holy Liturgy at monastery Vavedenje, in Senjak Belgrade.

After the Church services Crown Prince Aleksandar and Crown Princess Katherine visited the monastery shelter, where they had a friendly conversation with the priests and sisters, asking many questions regarding the services and functions of the Vavedenje monastery. Prioress Agnija, head of the monastery thanked Their Royal Highnesses for Their visit and expressed hope that They will come again soon.

Before departing from the Vavedenje monastery Prince Aleksandar answered various questions posed by local and foreign media. Accompanied by Princess Katherine, Prince Aleksandar visited several graves (within the monastery portals) of past metropolits and Belgrade citizens who were executed in 1944. Throughout the visit Prince Aleksandar was warmly and respectfully greeted by enthusiastic Belgrade citizens, who were very interested about His impressions upon returning to His home.
