 H.R.H. CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER AT

SLAVA (Saint’s Day) OF THE HOLY ARCHANGEL GABRIEL CHURCH

Earlier today His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander attended the Holy Liturgy and Slava of the Holy Archangel Gabriel church, which is the church of the Dedinje Palace parish. The Liturgy was celebrated by Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, vicar of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle, together with other priests including the Very Reverend Mihajlo Arnaut and Very Reverend Bosko Gagic.

The Liturgy ended with a procession, followed by consecration of the slava offerings and cutting of the Slava cake. In his homily, Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno, greeted His Royal Highness and welcomed him to his home. “ Let everything you do be to the benefit of your people as was done by your ancestors,” the Bishop said.

HRH Crown Prince Alexander stayed for lunch at the parish hall of the Holy Archangel Gabriel church, where he discussed with other guests the situation in the country and daily problems of the people. The Crown Prince was accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Elizabeth and members of the Crown Council Dragomir Acovic and Prof. Dragoljub Kavran.
