THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES AT THE CELEBRATION
OF ZEMUN MUNICIPALITY DAY

On the occasion of Zemun Municipality Day the president of Zemun Municipality Dr. Vladan Janićijević and his associates hosted a formal reception in the honor of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar and Princess Katarina.

At the entrance of Municipality Hall Their Royal Highnesses were greeted by the authorities of Zemun according to the traditional Serbian custom with bread and salt. The president of Municipality Dr.Vladan Janićijević briefed to Their Royal Highnesses on the history of Zemun and its numerous historical relations with the Royal family. Visibly touched, Dr. Janićijević expressed his gratitude to Their Royal Highnesses for giving importance to this event.

Addressing those present, Crown Prince Aleksandar said his intention was to get to know the prospects and needs of residents of Zemun as well as particularities and beauties of this part of Belgrade.

“I wish you to spend this holiday in peace and harmony, both as residents of Zemun and Belgrade, as residents of the city that has never made distinctions between people either by their origin, confession or anything else that separates people”, emphasized Crown Prince Aleksandar.
