THE CHANCELLERY OF
T.R.H. CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II AND PRINCESS KATARINA ATTEND UNITED NATIONS HUMANITARIAN MEETING IN BELGRADE Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Aleksandar II and
Princess Katarina attended today in Belgrade the presentation of programmes
of humanitarian activities of UN
agencies for the year 2002 in the region of Southeastern Europe. Federal
Minister for National Minorities Mr. Rasim Ljajić, Republic Commisioner
for Refugees Mrs. Sanda Rašković – Ivić and the representatives
of numerous humanitarian organizations from the country and abroad
participated at this international meeting. Addresing
those present H.R.H. Crown Prince Aleksandar II said that he supports
the idea of joint efforts of all humanitarian workers in order to increase
the effects of such a great task. “My wife has already organized few
meetings on that purpose and it is our wish to continue the reunion as it is the only
right way to deliver help successfully to the people in need” emphasized
