It was with much sadness that I learnt of the death of His Majesty King Hussein of Jordan. My family joins me in extending our deepest sympathy and condolences to His Majesty’s family and the Jordanian people.

His Majesty was a great inspiration to me and a person of monumental wisdom. I will always be grateful to him for his very warm friendship and prudence for over thirty years. I will greatly miss His Majesty.

I am certain that His Majesty King Abdullah will follow in the footsteps of his great father and will command the respect of the Jordanian people and the world.
