HRH Crown Prince Alexander and the Royal Family express their satisfaction that, by adopting the law repealing the shameful 1947 Decree which stripped the King and the Royal Family of their nationality, the Federal Parliament has begun the process of putting right the historical injustices and acts of lawlessness that marked half a century long rule of communists and their successors in Serbia and Montenegro. 

His Royal Highness believes that this Law opens up the door for the return to the Homeland of all World War II refugees and their descendants. Crown Prince Alexander also believes that the adoption of this Law shows readiness to initiate the process of restoration of all illegally taken property to citizens, foundations and institutions.  At the same time, HRH Crown Prince Alexander advises that it should be constantly borne in mind that in the process of undoing old injustices no new injustices are inflicted.
