Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine along with Lifeline New York, hosted charity dinner at the “Merakia” restaurant in New York in order to raise funds for the medical equipment for children’s hospitals in Serbia. The guest of honour was Mr. Kyle Wool, Lifeline New York Board member and the Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, who is very active in various philanthropic endeavors both in United States and abroad.

“Persistence and consistency are virtues that adorn all great achievements in life. Persistence and consistency in charity, in helping the humanitarian efforts of my husband and me, distinguish all of you gathered here tonight. Many children and people in Serbia depend on the Lifeline New York office. We will not be able to do many things without it, and we should not allow this to happen. We must make every effort to utilize all the capacities for our humanitarian work that this great and beautiful city gives us”, said Crown Princess Katherine.
Lifeline New York works directly with the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade to provide critically needed humanitarian aid to the people of Serbia regardless of religion or ethnic origin, with a focus on aiding physically and mentally handicapped children, orphans and working with medical institutions to improve health care throughout the country.

Their Royal Highnesses thanked to Andreas and Renée Typaldos for a wonderful Merakia being a venue of such an important humanitarian event, as well as to all others who helped in organization of this charity dinner.
