Kralja Petra II, u zadu\u017ebinskoj crkvi Svetog \u0110or\u0111a na Oplencu slu\u017een je pomen bla\u017eenopo\u010div\u0161em Kralju nakon \u010dega su polo\u017eeni venci na njegov grob. U ime Prestolonaslednika Aleksandra venac su polo\u017eili g-din Predrag Markovi\u0107, \u010dlan Krunskog saveta i g-din Zoran \u017divanovi\u0107, \u010dlan Krunskog kabineta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kralj Petar II, ro\u0111en je u Beogradu 6. septembra 1923, kao prvoro\u0111eni sin Kralja Aleksandra I i Kraljice Marije. Kumovi na kr\u0161tenju bili su mu engleski Kralj D\u017eord\u017e VI i Kraljica Elizabeta (kasnije Kraljica majka u Velikoj Britaniji). Posle osnovnog obrazovanja koje je stekao na Dvoru, poha\u0111ao je Sandroid \u0161kolu u Engleskoj, iz koje se vratio posle atentata na njegovog oca 1934. Po\u0161to je tada bio maloletan, kraljevska vlast preneta je na Namesni\u0161tvo na \u010delu sa Knezom Namesnikom Pavlom Kara\u0111or\u0111evi\u0107em.<\/p>\n<p>Drugi svetski rat primorao je Kralja Petra II da zajedno sa vladom emigrira, prvo u Gr\u010dku, a zatim u Egipat. U junu 1941. stigao je u Englesku, gde je prihva\u0107en kao simbol protivljenja nacizmu. Za vreme svog izbegli\u0161tva, Kralj Petar II je dovr\u0161io \u0161kolovanje u Kembrid\u017eu, a potom se pridru\u017eio snagama Kraljevskog ratnog vazduhoplovstva.<\/p>\n<p>Kralj Petar II nikada nije abdicirao. U izgnanstvu je prvo \u017eiveo u Londonu sa svojom suprugom gr\u010dkom princezom Aleksandrom i sinom Nj.K.V. Prestolonaslednikom Aleksandrom, ro\u0111enim 1945. Poslednje godine \u017eivota proveo je u Americi. Posle duge i te\u0161ke bolesti umro je u denverskoj bolnici 3. novembra 1970, a sahranjen je u manastiru Svetog Save u Libertivilu. Kralj Petar II bio je jedini Kralj sahranjen u Sjedinjenim Ameri\u010dkim Dr\u017eavama. Njegovi posmrtni ostaci su preneti u <a href=\"https:\/\/royalfamily.org\/Sendy\/l\/rPdxKDsR59bLTp9K763DAnug\/OMALcci1s4763yGCQaupjWLg\/s892cbJkffJGCsMHmdU0VzOg\" target=\"_blank\">Zadu\u017ebinsku Crkvu Svetog \u0110or\u0111a na Oplencu<\/a> 26. maja 2013.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/royalfamily.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/11.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-29044\" alt=\"Mr. Predrag Markovic, member of the Crown Council\" src=\"https:\/\/royalfamily.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/11-170x120.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Povodom 46. godi\u0161njice od smrti Nj.V.
