Na ovom doga\u0111aju prikupljena su neophodna sredstva za ubrzavanje translacionih istra\u017eivanja u Centru za istra\u017eivanje raka Robert H. Luri Univerziteta Nortvestern.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Osnovana u novembru 2015, misija Hipokratove fondacije za istra\u017eivanje raka (HCRF) otkrivanje, razvoj i sprovo\u0111enje efikasnih novih metoda le\u010denja obolelih od raka kroz podr\u0161ku vode\u0107im istra\u017eivanjima.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201eNa\u0161 cilj \u2013 da se elimini\u0161e rak i spasavaju \u017eivoti \u2013 jeste ambiciozan, ali je ostvariv\u201c, izjavila je Elena Busis, predsedavajuc\u0301a Osniva\u010dkog odbora HCRF. Vi\u0161e od polovine svih mu\u0161karaca i jedna trec\u0301ina svih \u017eena u Sjedinjenim Ameri\u010dkim Dr\u017eavama obolevaju od raka tokom svog \u017eivota, a cilj HCRF je da otkrije i uspostavi nove metode le\u010denja u cilju eliminisanja raka i spasavanja \u017eivota.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fondacija c\u0301e podr\u017eati udru\u017eivanje interdisciplinarnih istra\u017eiva\u010dkih timova u njihovim smelim i inovativnim pristupima re\u0161avanju najhitnijih pitanja iz oblasti biologije raka i onkologije. Hipokratova fondacija za istra\u017eivanje raka omoguc\u0301uje ubrzavanje napretka i povec\u0301anje uticaja istra\u017eivanja raka, posebno translacionog.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"center\">Translaciono istra\u017eivanje, poznato i pod nazivom \u201eklupa-do-postelje\u201c, zahteva aktivnu interakciju i saradnju izme\u0111u nau\u010dnika u laboratoriji i lekara-nau\u010dnika u okru\u017eenju pacijenata. Radec\u0301i zajedno na re\u0161avanju problema raka, ovi posvec\u0301eni istra\u017eitelji koriste nova znanja i otkric\u0301a ste\u010dena kroz osnovna istra\u017eivanja raka i prevode te uvide u nove pristupe u prevenciji raka, kao i dijagnozu i le\u010denje pacijenata koji \u017eive sa rakom.
