Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended memorial ceremony on 198th Anniversary of death of Supreme leader Karadjordje, where Crown Prince Alexander laid a wreath at his tomb at the St. George Church in Oplenac today. Karadjordje was the commander of the First Serbian Uprising (1804), founder of modern Serbia and the Karadjordjevic Dynasty.

Wreaths were also laid by Mr Negovan Stankovic, state secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Employment,  Veteran and Social Affairs in the name of the Government of Serbia, representatives of Ministry of Defense and Army of Serbia, Mr Dragan Reljic, director of the Foundation of King Peter I in Topola and members of the Association for preserving tradition of wars of liberation, and other admirers of Karadjordje.
