Members of the United States Congress have invited every year Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine to attend the sixty-fourth annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington Thursday, 4 February 2016.
The traditional National Prayer Breakfasts is attended by the President of the United States of America HE Mr. Barak Obama and other members of the national leadership of the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the United States. Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine have attended the National Prayer Breakfast many times.
The breakfast takes place the Hilton’s International Ballroom. The National Prayer Breakfast is hosted by members of the United States Congress and is organized on their behalf by The Fellowship Foundation. Initially called the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, the name was changed in 1970 to the National Prayer Breakfast.
The National Prayer Breakfast is an event that is held every first Thursday in February every year in Washington. The initiator of this event was Abraham Vereide a Methodist of Norwegian origin. The event was first organized in 1953.
