CROWN PRINCE AT CEREMONY IN HONOUR OF
SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF INTERNATIONAL POLICE ASSOCIATION IN
SREMSKA KAMENICA
Belgrade, 25 November 2009 – His Royal
Highness accompanied by Prof Dragoljub Kavran, member of the
Crown Council attended today a celebration in honour of the
second anniversary of the International Police Association of
Novi Sad region in Sremska Kamenica.
In the beginning the National anthem and
anthem of International Police Association (IPA) were played
followed by speeches by the President of International Police
Association of Novi Sad region, Mr. Milorad Petkovic,
representative of the Ministry of Interior for International
Cooperation, Mr. Milan Milosevic, Mr. Janos Kuperas, Head of
Department for expert development, training and science and HRH
Crown Prince Alexander II.
In his speech, the Crown Prince emphasized:
“Your job is not easy; you have to secure every single citizen
in every place and at every moment. In order to do that, you
have to be well trained and be able to react instantly. For that
reason, cooperation between departments in regions is of great
importance, as well as training and seminars that will help
exchange experience and information.”
Following the speeches there was a tour the
new Centre for basic training of police officers.
