CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND PRINCESS
BRIGITTA VISIT GERONTOLOGY CENTER IN BELGRADE
Belgrade, 14 December 2009 – Their Royal
Highnesses Crown Princess Katherine and Princess Brigitta
visited today the Gerontology Centre Belgrade, the retirement
home Bezanijska Kosa where they were warmly welcomed by Ms.
Mirjana Novakov, the manager, and many of the beneficiaries in
the Centre.
Their Royal Highnesses then visited several
tenants in their rooms, and got first hand information about
their life in the centre.
The Gerontology Centre Belgrade, retirement
home Bezanijska Kosa is the biggest gerontology centre in the
Balkans, with around 600 beds. The HRH Crown Princess Katherine
Foundation has helped this institution on several occasions with
furniture, wheelchairs and medical material.
