ROYAL COUPLE AT CONCERT ORGANIZED BY LAZA KOSTIC FUND AND
POLISH EMBASSY
Belgrade, 14 December 2010 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine, together with the Hon. Branko
Terzic, member of the Pricy Council, attended tonight the concert of Mr. Piers
Lane, the world famous London – based Australian pianist. The concert was
organized by Laza Kostic Fund and Polish embassy at Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation
in Belgrade.
This magnificent event was very well attended by members of
Serbian cultural and political life, as well as the Diplomatic Corps in Serbia.
HE Mr. Andrzej Jasionowski, Ambassador of Poland to Serbia and HE Mrs. Helena
Gay Studdert, Australian Ambassador to Serbia were among distinguished guests.

Concert was organized as final project of the year marking
100th anniversary of death of famous Serbian 19th century intellectual Laza
Kostic.
The programme included works of renowned Serbian composer
Vasilije Mokranjac devoted to Laza Kostic and famous Polish composer Frederic
Chopin, whose 200th birth anniversary is also marked this year.
