HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AT OPENING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S CLUB (IWC) BELGRADE ANNUAL CHARITY BAZAAR
Belgrade, 2 December 2012 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine and her daughter Mrs. Alison Andrews attended the opening of the International Women’s Club Bazaar (IWC) today in the Hall Two of the Belgrade Fair. The First Lady of Serbia Mrs. Dragica Nikolic officially opened the Bazaar. Mrs. Odilia Stokvis, wife of the Netherlands Ambassador to Serbia and Chairperson of IWC, also attended the opening.
The Charity Bazaar is the main fund-raising event for IWC Belgrade for supporting community projects. Last year, the Bazaar raised substantial funds and attracted around 4000 visitors.
The funds collected are allocated to charities in Serbia that work with the following groups: the elderly, gender-based violence and anti-trafficking, Roma children’s education, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable people.
