HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR
II GREETED THE CELEBRATION OF YOM KIPPUR TO THE MEMBERS OF JEWISH COMMUNITY
IN YUGOSLAVIA
Belgrade, 13 September 2002 – On the occasion of the
great holiday of Yom Kippur, HRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II sent his warmest
greetings to the members of Jewish community, wishing them to spend these
days in peace, love and well being of their prayers, through the Supreme
Rabi of Yugoslavia Mr. Isak Asiel and the presidents of Jewish
municipalities.
“Please be the interpreters to your communities of our
hopes that the light of repentance will shine upon the era of universal
reconciliation and bring shelter to the homeless, peace to the warring
parties, holiness of home to the exiled, and the word of God to those who
are fed up with intolerance.
My family and the entire Royal House join you in your
prayers”, said in his greeting to Mr. Asiel and the presidents of Jewish
municipalities Crown Prince Aleksandar II.

 Their
Royal Highnesses went to the Health Center afterwards where they delivered a
neonatal incubator “Medicina TS” (€ 4,500) to the director Dr. Radovan
Markov.

Princess
Katherine said that children are our most valuable possession, so it is our
commitment to see that our maternity wards have all the necessary equipment. 

Mr.

Zivojin Djordjevic, owner and director of the company Fresh &Co. from
Subotica was also present during the delivery of donation. As one of the
donors in great humanitarian action of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess
Katherine, he expressed his wish that this donation goes to Subotica Health
Center. 

Within
the program of delivering humanitarian aid to the health institutions in our
country during June, July, August and September, HRH Crown Princess
Katherine delivered donations to the health centers in Kosovska Mitrovica,
Gracanica, Kotor, Kraljevo, Becej, Kikinda, Kragujevac, Sabac, Valjevo,
Loznica, Vranje, Surdulica, Clinical Center in Belgrade and many other
hospitals in Belgrade.

The value
