DINNER IN HONOUR OF DR. CONSTANTINIDIS AND
HIS TEAM AT THE WHITE PALACE
Belgrade, 12 December 2002 – TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar II and Crown
Princess Katherine organized a formal dinner at the White Palace in Dedinje
last night, in honour of their guests from Greece, Dr. Constantin
Constantinidis, Mrs. Titi Apostolopulous and Mr. Vasilis Apostolopulous.
Dr. Constantin Constantinidis is a top laparoscopic surgeon, the chief of
special General, Laser and Laparoscopic Surgery Ward in Medical Center
Athens.
Dr. Constantinidis will perform several most advanced operations of
diaphragm hernia that haven’t been applied in our country so far, at the
First Surgical Clinic of the Clinical Center of Serbia, after which he will
give a lecture on “Laparoscopic approach to treating diaphragm hernia and
gerd”.
Mrs. Titi Apostolopulous is the wife of George Apostolopulous, Chairman
of “G. Apostolopulous Holdings SA.”, a group that operates in the areas of
health care, manufacturing, marketing, insurance, construction, real estate
and information technologies, and that owns Medical Center Athens, as well
as a chain of health facilities in Greece and other Balkan countries.
Mr. Vasilis Apostolopulous is the vice chairman and CEO of “G.
Apostolopulous Holdings SA”.
Among the invitees were Minister of Health Mr. Tomica Milosavljevic, the
director of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases Dr. Bosko Djukanovic,
the director of Clinical Centre of Serbia Prof. Dr. Vojko Djukic, the deputy
director of the Clinical Centre of Serbia and the director of the Institute
for Digestive Diseases Prof. Dr. Predrag Pesko, the chief of the
Neuromuscular ward of the Institute for Neurology Prof. Dr. Slobodan
Apostoloski, the Dean of the School of Medicine at Belgrade University and
the director of the Institute for Neurology of the Clinical Center of Serbia
Prof. Dr. Vladimir Kostic, Dr. Zoran Vesic and the chief of the World Bank
Office in Yugoslavia Rory O’Sullivan.
At this private dinner, current situation in our health care system and
