CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GREEK FOOTBALL TEAM
Belgrade, 5 July 2004. – HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II sent today congratulations to HE Ambassador of Greece
Mr. Mihalis Spinelis on the occasion of yesterday’s victory of the
Greek’s National Football Team at the European Football
Championship.
“I am positive that the football fans around the
world enjoyed remarkably disciplined, tactically mature and
efficient play of the Greek national team. We were supporting you
during the whole championship and share with you the joy of victory.
Once again we showed great closeness and traditional friendship that
bonds the people of our countries.
I wish that Greece wins plenty of recognitions
and medals, on the forthcoming Olympic Games in Athens, and
demonstrates excellent organizing abilities’’ – emphasized HRH
