THE FLAG OF SERBIA WITH THE ROYAL
COAT OF ARMS ON THE NATIONAL PARLIAMENT BUILDING
Belgrade, 30 August 2004 – In the presence of the Speaker of the
National Parliament Mr. Predrag Markovic, representatives of all
parties’ groups in the Parliament and several hundreds of citizens,
the new State flag of the Republic of Serbia was hoisted after the
national anthem “God of Justice” was performed by the representative
orchestra of the Guards of Serbia and Montenegro.
The state flag of Serbia consists of three horizontal fields – red,
blue and white – with the small coat of arms of the Kingdom of Serbia
in the middle. The ceremony was also attended by the representatives
of The Office of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II Mrs. Zorica Salijevic
