THE JEWISH HOLIDAY – HANUKAH CONGRATULATIONS
Belgrade, 15 December 2006 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II
extended his congratulations to H.E. the Ambassador of Israel Mrs. Yaffa Ben-Ari
for the Jewish holiday Hanukah.
“I convey my warmest congratulations to you and to all
members of the Jewish community for Hanukah, a great celebration of Light.
Hoping that the infinite light of the Almighty will shine upon our lives, and
remind us with this Holiday to strain towards nobility and unity, and walk upon
the path of divine laws, I salute you wholeheartedly”, Crown Prince Alexander II
said in his letter.
The Crown Prince also sent congratulations for the Hanukah to
the Great Rabbi of Serbia Mr. Isaac Asiel, President of the Union of the Jewish
municipalities Mr. Aca Singer, the President of the Novi Sad Jewish municipality
Mrs. Ana Frenkel, the President of the Subotica Jewish municipality Mr. Robert
Szabados, the President of the Belgrade Jewish municipality Mr. Raka Levi, and
the President of the Banja Luka Jewish municipality Mr. Jakov Danon.
