THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES GUESTS OF THE PRESIDENT OF
ICELAND
Reykjavik, Iceland 31 October 2006 – Their Royal
Highnesses arrived yesterday in Iceland for a couple of days guests of His
Excellency President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.
Their Royal Highnesses will be meeting with the Mayor of
Reykjavik Mr. Vilhjalmur Th. Vilhjalmsson. There will also be several
meetings with the leaders of the Icelandic business community who are
already involved in investments in Serbia.
His Royal Highness is very interested in learning more
about geothermal energy used in Iceland for heating and electricity, which
he believes, has significant potential in Serbia. Conservation of energy is
an important issue.
Their Royal Highnesses will also listen to an
introduction of the Youth in Europe programme of drug prevention that
includes Belgrade and 15 other cities in Europe.
