FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
Belgrade 7 September 2006 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine accompanied by the medical
advisor Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation Dr. Elaine Laycock from Great
Britain, visited today St. Sava School for children with special needs in
Umka, on the outskirts of Belgrade.
Their Royal Highnesses witnessed the improvements after
the reconstruction works of the School facilities that were officially
opened by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander today:
“My wife, Crown Princess Katherine and I are trying our
best to help all those in need. We are very proud to have friends such as Dr
Laycock. She is a true example to everyone and she is constantly giving her
heart to the children of Serbia.
Everyone in this country has the duty to help children
and they are our future. Children with special needs must be helped to join
society and to contribute to society according to the best of their
abilities.
With the experts working in this School, I am sure that
the assimilation of these children into modern society will be a success
story”, said HRH Crown Prince Alexander II.
