HRH CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER
OF YUGOSLAVIA’s
S T A T E M E N T
in connection with yesterday’s police violence

I am disgusted with the totally unjustified brutal violence of the regime’s
police attacking peaceful demonstrators whose justified demand is for democracy
and a better future.  The regime has demonstrated once again that
it is only interested in power and itself.  Everyone must wake up
and understand that this regime is the worst thing that had ever happened
to the Serbian people.  How much more blood has to be spilt for democracy?

My sympathy goes out to all the injured and their families.  My
disgust goes out to the monsters amongst our society who have no respect
for democracy.  In spite of all this we must not give up the cause
for democracy and human rights in Serbia!
