Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine have attended traditional Saint Sava Academy organized by Ministry of education, science and technological development this evening at the National Theater in Belgrade.
Beside Their Royal Highnesses the Academy was attended by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, HE Mr Tomislav Nikolic, President of Serbia with his wife, Their Graces Bishop Jovan of Sumadija, Bishop Irinej of Bac, Bishop Ignjatije of Branicevo, Bishop Vasilije of Srem, Bishop Arsenije of Toplica, HE Mrs Kori Udovicki, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and local Self – Government, HE Mr Srdjan Verbic, Minister of Education, science and technological development, HE Mr Aleksandar Antic, Minister of Mining and Energy, HE Mr Zeljko Sertic, Minister of Economy, HE Mrs Snezana Bogosavljevic – Boskovic, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, HE Mrs Jadranka Joksimovic, Minister without portfolio responsible for European integration, HE Mr Velimir Ilic, Minister without portfolio responsible for emergency situations, Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic, Chief of staff of Serbian Army, His Eminence Mnsg. Stanislav Hocevar, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade, Mr Isak Asiel, Great Rabbi of Serbia, Muhamed Ef. The program opened with Serbian National Anthem “God of Justice”. President Nikolic and Minister Verbic addressed the guests, and after that there was a play “St Sava in National in National memory”. The distinguished laureates received St. Sava awards, and the ceremony closed with an anthem devoted to St. Sava.
