„Race for Serbia“ Their Royal Highnesses are proud to present an outstanding charity race across Atacama Desert in which Mrs. Rebecca Pattinson will raise funds for Lifeline London Humanitarian Foundation. This will be under the auspices of HRH Crown Princess Katherine with the aim to help children with autism in Serbia.

On 3rd March Mrs. Rebecca Pattinson will be setting out to run 250 km across the Atacama Desert in Chile composed of six marathons in 5 days and carrying about 10 kilos of food and equipment on her back.

Her sponsorship campaign will focus in particular on children and families affected by AUTISM in Serbia, a lifelong developmental disability which, due to lack of understanding or proper diagnosis in Serbia has meant children were completely isolated from the world around them.

The Royal Couple wishes Mrs. Rebecca Pattinson the best of luck! The Atacama Crossing 2013 is Rebecca’s second Racing The Planet / 4 Deserts event after participating in Racing The Planet: Nepal 2011.

The Atacama Desert in Chile is one of the few deserts on Earth that doesn’t receive any rain. It is a plateau in South America, covering a 600-mile (1,000 km) strip of land on the Pacific coast of South America, west of the beautiful Andes Mountains.
