ROYAL COUPLE AT NATIONAL ASSEMBLY FOR FIRST SERBIAN
MEDICAL CHAMBER AWARD CEREMONY
Belgrade, 22 October 2008 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine attended today a ceremony
for the first 300 licenses for Serbian doctors held at the National
Assembly.
The ceremony of delivering certificates to the doctors
was performed by HE Mr. Boris Tadic, President of Serbia. All doctors that
received certificates took an oath.
The first certificate was delivered to HE Prof. Dr.
Tomica Milosavljevic, Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Tatjana Radosavljevic,
Director of Serbian Medical Chamber and Directors of regional Medical
Chambers. In the future certificates will be delivered to the doctors by
Regional Medical Chambers and Doctors will not be allowed to work with out
them. The certificate is valid from January 2009 and it will have to be
resumed on every seven years.
Beside Their Royal Highnesses ceremony was also attended
by: HE Mr. Dragan Sutanovac, Minister of Defence, Mufti of Serbia, Muhamed
ef Jusufspahic, Prof. Dr. Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, Speaker of the House,
Prof. Dr. Bogdan Djuricic, Dean of Medical Faculty and many others.
