TRH CROWN PRINCE ALEKSANDAR II AND CROWN
PRINCESS KATHERINE VISIT “VRSACKI VINOGRADI” AND “HEMOFARM” COMPANIES IN
VRSAC
Belgrade, 24 October 2002 – TRH Crown Prince Aleksandar and Crown
Princess Katherine visited Vrsac today where they called upon wine company
“Vrsacki vinogradi” and pharmaceutical company “Hemofarm”.
Their Royal Highnesses first visited “Vrsacki vinogradi” company where
they talked to the management about company’s business, their plans and
well-known Vrsac wines. The Crown Prince commended “Vrsacki vinogradi” as a
model institution and on that occasion reminded that the Royal Foundation in
Oplenac used to be a major wine producer that had long tradition and quality
products, and that revitalization of the old vineyards is being planned at
the moment.
Visit to Vrsac was finished by calling upon “Hemofarm” company. TRH Crown
Prince Aleksandar II and Crown Princess Katherine commended the success of
this company, which is important for social standard and economic progress
of the country. In addition, in many humanitarian projects that were
undertaken to help the most deprived categories of our people, “Hemofarm”
company offered its significant support.
“Support to humanitarian programs should be the source of your pride and
the reason for gratitude of our state and nation”, said Crown Prince
Aleksandar.
The director of “Hemofarm” pharmaceutical company Mr. Miodrag Babic most
kindly thanked to Their Royal Highnesses and then took them to a tour of
