HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE MEETS AMBASSADORS’ WIVES IN THE CANADIAN
RESIDENCE
Belgrade, 19 March 2003 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine met with the
Ambassadors wives accredited to Belgrade at the Canadian Residence. The
hostess was Mrs. Judy McLennan, the wife of HE the Ambassador of Canada Mr.
Donald McLennan.
This is the second meeting with the Ambassadors’ wives organized by
Princess Katherine. HRH Crown Princess Katherine started the initiative for
regular meetings during a gathering The White Palace this February. The aim
is to engage the highest institutions and organizations from the countries
from which the Ambassadors’ wives come in supporting humanitarian activities
and programs of the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Catherine, in order to
provide help for everyone who is in need in our country.
The Ambassadors’ wives from most countries were present at today’s
meeting. HRH Crown Princess Katherine warmly thanked them for the effort
they are putting into organizing of these meetings, with the aim to help all
endangered categories in our country.
