“Assessment of selected hospitals in Serbia”
The study was presented
by European Agency for Reconstruction
Belgrade, 11 March 2004 – UN Agency, Red Cross,
UN Office of the Resident Coordinator participated the 25th Meeting
of Humanitarian Organizations and Government Institutions that was
organized by HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation at the Royal
Palace.
The Program of Department of Health European
Agency for Reconstruction and study with a topic “Assessment of
selected hospitals in Serbia” was introduced at today’s meeting. The
project was presented by Mr. Maja Krčmar, representative of the
European Agency for Reconstruction, Mr. Heinrich Berg, leader of the
project implementation, Mr. Jim Cook, architect, Ivan Jekić MD,
management consultant to the general manager of the Clinical Center
of Serbia, Mr. Jane Arsov, coordinator of two feasibility projects
and his assistant Mr. Dušan Popović.
The project includs 20 general hospitals and its
implementation will follow up in the next two years.
At the meeting it was announced that TRH Crown
Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine will visit USA and
attend the series of Marina Arsenijevic’s charity concerts the
proceeds of which is intended as a donation to HRH Crown Princess
Katherine Foundation and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization.
The next meeting of NGOs was scheduled for
