CONGRATULATIONS TO HIS HOLINESS THE SERBIAN PATRIARCH PAVLE ON
HIS PATRON SAINT’S DAY LAZARUS SATURDAY
Belgrade, 2 April 2004 – HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II congratulated to His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch
Pavle on his patron saint’s day, Lazarus Saturday:
“On the occasion of the Day of Lazarus’s
Resurrection, please accept my warmest congratulations and wishes
that God gives you good health so that you continue with your
pastoral duties for many years to the benefit of our Holy Church and
to the glory of God, in peace and with all the success.
For all those expressions of Your Holiness’s
support to the Crown on many occasions, for all that you have done
for the salvation of our people, I am infinitely grateful to you.

God grant you long life, Your Holiness, and may
you spend your patron saint’s day in tranquility and fulfillment,
surrounded by the love of your Christ-bearing people.”
Crown Prince Alexander II has also congratulated
the Lazarus Saturday to His Grace Irinej, Bishop of Nis, wishing him
many years of good health and content.
“I wish you to celebrate this blessed day in good
health and felicity for many years, and to spend it in peace,
strengthened by the prayers and support of the congregation whose
