development in Serbia, gathers people from the world of business and
provides the opportunity for exchange of opinions and ideas regarding the
economic questions of our region.
Crown Prince Alexander II addressed the conference and
welcomed them; exclaiming that “these conferences have become an annual
tradition and are a very important part of the economic development of
Serbia. It is very nice to see our Greek friends and potential investors and
all those from abroad. I have read the list of sessions and I note there is
nothing about the current global economic crisis and its potential effect on
Serbia. The session topics are good, but these are certainly not normal
times. We cannot hide from the extraordinary daily activity and news we
witness in the global arena. We must undertake some important moves to
safeguard our Serbian economy.
On the other hand without getting potential Serbian
entrepreneurs more active the economy stands to lose since the backbone of
all successful economies are entrepreneurs” – emphasized the Crown Prince at
the Conference.
