CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER ADDRESSES THE BALKAN VENTURE FORUM
Belgrade, 23 November 2012 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander, accompanied by Mrs. Alison Andrews and Mr. Manos Ioannidis, attended this afternoon the closing ceremony of the Balkan Venture Forum, at the Hotel Metropole Palace in Belgrade, and addressed the participants.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander praised the organizers of the conference in his speech, and emphasized: “I am sure that we have many hard working entrepreneurs here in Serbia, and in other Balkan countries, people with good business ideas and courage, who need support to create many new jobs, and help raise our economies. I believe that this meeting will bring results that could be implemented in every day practice, and that all of our citizens will have essential benefits from it very soon. Entrepreneurs are the backbone of all market economies”.
Balkan Venture Forum is the largest venture capital, private equity and investment forum in the region, created to facilitate access to finance, to improve investor readiness, to catalyze innovation for the Balkans region business community and to foster entrepreneurship development.
More than 40 investors, with investment portfolios of over 3 billion euros attended the two day Conference in Belgrade.
