CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER CONGRATULATES UNITED NATIONS DAY
Belgrade, 23 October 2007 – On the occasion of UN Day, His
Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander congratulated Mr. David Lance Clark, UN
Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative.
In his letter, the Crown Prince emphasized: “On the occasion
of the 48th anniversary of the United Nations Day, which is traditionally
celebrated worldwide on October 24, I would like to send my sincere
congratulations to you and all members of the United Nations Agencies in Serbia.
United Nations’ continuous efforts and programs in our country are very much
appreciated and will undoubtedly contribute and improve the quality of life in
Serbia and reduce suffering of those who need help and support.
Please extend my best wishes to all dedicated staff of UN in
Serbia and thank them for their hard work for the benefit of the people of our
country”.
