CROWN PRINCE ALEXANDER HOSTS WORKING
BREAKFAST FOR MEMBERS OF THE ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE
Belgrade, 26 November 2009 – His Royal
Highness Crown Prince Alexander II hosted a working breakfast
for members of the Advantage Austria Chamber of Commerce today
at the White Palace.
Guests were addressed by HRH Crown Prince
Alexander II, HE Mr. Clemens Koja, Ambassador of Austria to
Serbia, Mr. Andreas Haidenthaler, Austrian Commercial Counsellor
and Mr. Dusan Babac, member of the Privy Council.
HRH Crown Prince Alexander II greeted the
guests and emphasized: “I would like to warmly welcome Advantage
Austria to the White Palace. Austria and Serbia have excellent
and warm friendship. We are extremely grateful for the superb
Austrian investments in Serbia. We are very proud on our
relations with Austria and grateful for your continued interest
in Serbia”. In addition, the Crown Prince made an overview of
the current economic situation in Serbia and presented
possibilities of how to improve the educational and economic
system. “My Foundation for Education has successfully helped
young Serbian students with their education abroad. This young
talent is ready to partake in our recovery and share their
knowledge.”
HE Mr. Clemens Koja, Ambassador of Austria to
Serbia thanked the Crown Prince in his speech and spoke about
the superb Austrian investment in Serbia. A speech was also
delivered by Mr. Andreas Haidenthaler, the Austrian Commercial
Counsellor. He pointed out that Austrian companies are
progressively increasing their investments in Serbia and that so
far the Euros 2 Billion l invested in our country through
business deals, exports and taxes make a huge contribution to
Serbian revenue”. He also pointed out that the new visa regime
in December will be of great help developing economic ties and
increasing further investments.
Representatives of more than 50 companies
attended the working breakfast.
