Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine visited today Topola and Oplenac and attended a Requiem for late members of the Royal Family at the Church of St. George served by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Sumadija. After the service Their Royal Highnesses laid flowers on tombs of family members at the Royal Mausoleum at St. George Church.
Their Royal Highnesses gave presents to children who gathered in front of the church and wished them a Happy New Year.
After meeting and talking with the citizens of Topola, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess accompanied by Mr Dragan Zivanovic, Mayor of Topola and Mrs Slobodanka Milivojevic, director of the Centre for Social Work in Topola visited two families recommended by this Centre and delivered aid. Both families have single mothers with children.
Crown Prince and Crown Princess will continue to help socially deprived families in Topola in coordination with Center for Social Work in Topola.
