CROWN PRINCE SIGNS ASSOCIATION CHARTER WITH ELEMENTARY
SCHOOLS BEARING THE NAME OF HM KING ALEXANDER I
Belgrade, 19 December 2008 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander
II signed a Charter with directors of five elementary schools which bear the
name of His Majesty King Alexander I.
During the Royal Family’s Patron Saint Day – Saint Andrew
the First Called, HRH Crown Prince Alexander II signed a Charter Association
with elementary schools bearing the name “King Alexander I” represented by
principles of all five schools in the Association: Ms. Jelena Avramović from
Mačvanski Prnjavor, Mr. Zoran Cvetinović from Jadranska Lešnica, Mr.
Slobodan Pantić from Gornji Milanovac, Mr. Milan Pušica from Novi Beograd
and Mr. Goran Seger from Požarevac.
The association was founded in April 2007 and since then
works intensively in building cooperation between the five schools from
Serbia which bear the name of the grandfather, King Alexander I, of Crown
Prince Alexander II. The goal of Association is for pupils and teaching
staff to get to know each other in their interpersonal communication, to
exchange experience and improve school life and the teaching profession.
With the support of HRH Crown Prince Alexander II these schools organise
gatherings in memory of King Alexander I, various competitions in literary
writing, painting, history, music, chorus and sports, gatherings and visits
of the pupils and teaching staff to other schools as well as to the Royal
Complex in Dedinje and Royal Mausoleum in Oplenac.
The signing the Charter in the White Palace is another
step forward in improving cooperation of these schools which Crown Prince
