Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine attended a gala concert which closed the 46th Joy of Europe 2015, at Belgrade’s Sava Centre today. Concert was also attended by Mrs Dragica Nikolic, wife of the president of Serbia, among other distinguished guests. Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine said she was very happy and proud that children from seventeen European countries get the opportunity to meet their peers and establish lasting friendships through this event.
Traditional International children’s gathering “Joy of Europe” was held in Belgrade from October 2 to 5, organized by the Children’s Cultural Centre Belgrade and under the auspices of the City of Belgrade. During the four days of the event, for the 46th time Belgrade became children’s capital of Europe, hosting children from 17 European countries. Children from 17 elementary schools in Belgrade hosted their peers from European countries, so that more than 500 children participated directly in all the programs of the event.
