EASTER DONATIONS TO THE “CENTER FOR
PROTECTION OF INFANTS, CHILDREN AND YOUTH” IN ZVECANSKA STREET
Belgrade, 25 April 2003 – TRH Crown Prince Alexander II, Crown Princess
Katherine, Prince Philip and the members of Princess Katherine’s family –
her father Mr. Robert Batis, her mother Mrs. Ann Batis, her son Mr. David
Andrews, her daughter Mrs. Alison Garfinkel and her grandson Michael
Garfinkel visited “Center for protection of infants, children and youth” in
Zvecanska street today, on Good Friday, on the occasion of the forthcoming
Easter holidays.
The Princess delivered donations directed to the Foundation of HRH Crown
Princess Katherine by the Greek mega store “Veropulos”, and “YUTEF” during
the joint humanitarian program “Good deeds are always in fashion”.
The director of the Center Mr. Zoran Milacic welcomed the guests on
behalf of the staff and thanked for the help and constant care for the
children of the Center.
In short speeches Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine
greeted the employees of the Center and expressed hope that the delivered
donations will cover at least a part of their needs.
Their Royal Highnesses took the tour of the Center’s premises, talked to
the director, teachers and the children and wished them happy Easter
holidays.
