NEW DONATIONS FOR REFUGEE CAMP IN
KRNJACA
Belgrade, 24 February 2005 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince
Alexander II and Princess Katherine visited the refugee camp in
Krnjaca today, and delivered significant humanitarian help. The help
containing food, clothes, and hygienic agents was provided by the
Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine in cooperation with the
Circle of Serbian Sisters, from Adelaide, Australia.
At the very beginning Mr.Dabetic, President of the Refugee
Committee addressed the present and greeted Their Royal Highnesses
and “countrymen” and said:
“It is not the first time that Their Royal Highnesses help and
try to make your life a little less difficult”. Thanking them for
their help, Mr.Dabetic expressed his hope that there will be more
people of good will in the future who would be willing to help out.

“We are acquainted with your situation and this help that we are
bringing today is not much, still, know that our love for you is
large.” – said HRH Crown Prince Alexander II and expressed his hope
to help them, together with his wife, to solve their life problems.

Afterwards HRH Princess Katherine addressed the present:
“My husband and I work very hard on finding people of good will
and with a big heart who are ready to help our people. We try to
distribute their help to the places where it is needed most. This
time, thanks to the successful cooperation of my Foundation and the
Circle of Serbian Sisters from Adelaide, Australia, clothes, food,
hygienic agents and shoes for the little children arrived to your
home. We are aware that this help will not solve all your life
problems. It is a little contribution and a sign that we are always
there for you. My heart is full of joy when I see happiness on your
faces. I am aware that your living conditions are difficult, but
only if we are all together can we help in overcoming the
difficulties. I hope that there will be more of these actions in the
future, and that we will help our citizens. Our aim is that you quit
being refugees and start to work and live like all other citizens” –
HRH Princess Katherine made her self clear.
During their visit to the refugee camp in Krnjaca, Their Royal
Highnesses, accompanied by Mr. Dabetic, President of Refugee
Committee and Mr. Bobar, Manager of Refugee Camp visited facilities
in which refugees live and they spent time chatting with the
