The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, has successfully completed another significant project at the Institution for the Education of Children and Youth in Belgrade, continuing its long-standing mission of providing support to social welfare institutions.
As part of this project, the Institution has been equipped with 25 wardrobes (dressers), 25 desks, and 25 chairs, significantly improving the living and working conditions of its residents. In addition, two bedrooms have been repainted and further enhanced with colorful wall paneling, while two doors have been replaced, thanks to the generous support of Mr. Michael and Mrs. Tricia Sakich and family.
HRH Crown Princess Katherine emphasized the importance of continuous care for children and young people who need support the most: “I am deeply grateful to all those who recognize the importance of investing in better conditions for the upbringing of children and youth. Projects like this are not only an investment in facilities, but also in their future. I extend my special thanks to Mr. Michael and Mrs. Tricia Sakich for their selfless support and generosity.”
The Director of the Institution, Mrs. Tatjana Milenković Kajkut, expressed great gratitude to HRH Crown Princess Katherine, the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, as well as the Sakich family for this valuable donation, stating: “Such examples of humanity, solidarity, and social responsibility provide our beneficiaries not only with material support, but also with a sense of care, support, and belonging to the community. We are grateful that they have recognized the needs of the children and young people in our care and, through their noble gesture, brought joy, hope, and additional motivation into their daily lives.”
The Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago continues to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable social groups through its activities, relying on the support of compassionate individuals and families.
