ROTARIAN EVENT IN PIREAUS IN AID OF
LIFELINE HELLAS
Athens 3 February 2005. Last night the Rotary Club of Piraeus
Greece under of its international humanitarian action organized a
gala evening to support Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization.
The event took place in the wonderful lounge of the Yachting Club of
Greece.
Mr. Dimitrios Ventouris the President of the Rotary club of
Piraeus mentioned to the guests the purpose of the event and that
was the offer of an ambulance for a Pediatrics Hospital of Serbia.

The evening was honored by the presence of Their Royal Highnesses
Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, who during her
speech was very touched and pleased by the great success of the
event. HRH Crown Princess Katherine is the founder and patron of
Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization.
Dr. Dusan Batakovic the Ambassador of Serbia-Montenegro was
present and expressed his pleasure for this humanitarian action
The event was also honored by many Rotarian past governors of
Greece Mr. T. Konstantinidis, Mr. J. Vlassiadis, Mr. J. Mavroulias ,
the Governor – elect Mr. L. Chazapis and the proposed Governor Mr.
P. Dalianis.
The deputy Minister of Transport of Greece, Mr. A. Nerantzis, the
former Ministers of Greece Mr. A. Kratsas and G. Kotsonis, the
member of the Greek Parliament Mr. K Markopoulos, the Mayor of the
City of Papagou Mr. V.Xidis , the prefecture Consultant of Piraeus
Mrs. Z. Efstathiou, the head officer of the Police of Piraeus Mr. P.
Pigadiotis, the president of the Chatzikyriakion Institute Mr. G.
Bakouris, the President of the Institute “VARVARESOU” Mr.
Theodoropoulos, the President of the Yachting Club of Piraeus Mr. A.
Potamianos, the President of the Greek-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce
Mr. I. Polichronopoulos, the President of the National Confederation
of Hellenic Commerce Mr. D. Armenakis, the President of the Traders
Association of Piraeus Mr. V. Korkidis, the special consultant of
EAKN – Glyfada – Greece Dr. D. Chilas and many others honored also
