Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine attended the initial laying out of the mosaic of the Resurrection of Christ at St. Sava Temple.
The first piece was laid out by His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, and beside the Royal Couple the ceremony was also attended by the Holy Assembly of Bishops, the outgoing President HE Mr Tomislav Nikolic, Minister of Culture and Information HE Mr Vladan Vukosavljevic, Russian ambassador HE Mr. Alexander Chepurin, Belarus ambassador HE Mr. Vladimir Chushev, Gazprom Neft CEO Aleksander Dyukov and the Deputy CEO Mr. Kirill Kravchenko. His Holiness Patriarch Irinej awarded representatives of Gazprom Neft with the order of St. Sava.
The corner stone of St. Sava Temple was laid by His Majesty King Peter II (the father of Crown Prince Alexander) on 10 May 1935 Metropolitan Gavrilo of Montenegro the future Serbian Patriarch Gavrilo V of Serbia.
