ROYAL COUPLE RECEIVE HOUSTON CITY HONORARY CITIZENSHIP
Belgrade, 4 May 2012 – Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander II and Crown Princess Katherine were appointed by Decree Honorary Citizens and Good Will Ambassadors of the City of Houston, Texas on 1 May, by the Mayor of the City of Houston, Ms. Anisse D. Parker.
During their ongoing trip to Houston where Royal Couple is meeting Business, Academic and Healthcare representatives in order to establish closer connections between Serbia and Houston, a special event took place when Their Royal Highnesses were appointed as Honorary Citizens and Good Will Ambassadors of the City of Houston as a recognition for their outstanding success for unselfish public service for the benefit and welfare of humanity.
Part of the ceremony was a proclamation declaring 5 May as Serbia Day.
