At the invitation of the clergy and presidents of Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral and Saint Sava Academy, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine conducted an official visit to the Cathedral and school in Chicago.

The Royal couple was welcomed by His Grace Bishop Longin and Mr. Dejan Radulovic, Acting Serbian Consul General, as well as with a formal ceremony at the Cathedral entrance. After reception they toured classrooms and spoke with students and teachers.

There are about 50,000 Americans of Serbian descent living in the US Midwest. The Royal tour of the US Midwest is managed by the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization – Chicago which operates under the patronage of The Crown Princess Katherine.
