HRH Crown Prince Alexander sends the Royal Family of Serbia’s congratulations to the citizens and Government of the Republic of Srpska on the upcoming National Day and Patron Saint Day – The Holy Protomartyr Stephen the Archdeacon.
“On behalf of the Royal Family of Serbia, I extend most heartfelt congratulations to the citizens and the Government of the Republic of Srpska on the National Day and the Patron Saint Day, the feast of the Holy Protomartyr Stephen the Archdeacon.
This solemn day reminds us of the spiritual, cultural, and historical ties that unite Serbian people, ties forged through centuries. These bonds do not depend on geography, but on mutual respect, shared values, and a deep sense of belonging, which have always connected our people on both sides of the Drina River, which is not the border line, but the backbone of our people.
Throughout history, the people of the Republic of Srpska have shown steadfast commitment to preserving their identity, traditions, and faith, even in the most challenging moments. By remaining faithful to the ideals of freedom, dignity, and unity passed down by our ancestors, you continue to safeguard the foundations upon which the Republic of Srpska stands today and will stand in the future. These are foundations on which Serbs stand, wherever in the world they live, the cornerstone set and kept by Stefan Nemanja, Emperor Dusan, Prince Lazar, Karadjordje, Milos, and all other great people from our past who have led us and our country.
On this important day, I wish all citizens of the Republic of Srpska good health, peace, and personal happiness. May the Republic of Srpska continue to progress and develop, for the benefit of all its people, and for the preservation of the legacy of our ancestors,” stated HRH Crown Prince Alexander.
