THE 99TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE
UNIVERSITY OF BELGRADE
Belgrade, 27 February 2004 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander II
congratulated the Chancellor of the University of Belgrade Prof. Dr.
Marija Bogdanovic on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of this high
education institution.
“Our most important institution of high education has produced
great names of Serbian history, top experts in all areas, who have
always put their knowledge to the service of their people and their
country. Today too, through education at the Belgrade University,
generations of young people acquire knowledge recognized throughout
the world.
Please extend my sincere congratulations to all professors,
employees and students on the occasion of this great jubilee, as well
as my wishes for them to continue to uphold the tradition of the
oldest and the biggest University in Serbia” – emphasized the Crown
