Belgrade, 16 April 2003- HRH Crown Prince Alexander II extended his
congratulations to the Mayor of Belgrade Mrs. Radmila Hrustanovic, the staff
of the City Hall and all the citizens of Belgrade on the occasion of the
«Days of Belgrade», our capital’s holiday.

Throughout its history full of difficult experiences and great sufferings,
the City has preserved its indestructible spirit. That is the unique spirit
of freedom and unstoppable human striving for civilized urban life. It is
the duty of all of us Belgraders to keep that spirit going in the times to
come.
Hoping that in celebrating its holiday, Belgrade will once again shine in
the full splendor of its vast historical and cultural treasure, please
