XXXI NGO MEETING IN THE ROYAL PALACE
Belgrade, 14 October 2004 – HRH Princess Katherine Foundation
organized today, in the Royal Palace on Dedinje, the thirty first
meeting of The Nongovernmental organizations, Resident
Representative in SCG, International Monetary Fund and Institute for
Mental Health.
Mr. Harald Hirchhofer, Resident Representative in SCG,
International Monetary Fund, elaborated to the representatives of
the Nongovernmental organizations, on the IMF aims in SCG, by which
they will try to stop the crisis in the SCG systems. IMF has the
programs which will support the country itself by accepting good
economy projects. The advice of the IMF is that the solution is in
advancing the social standards of the citizens.
Mrs. Dusica Lecic Tosevski, Professor Doctor of the Institute for
Mental Health gave a little speech on mental health of the citizens
of Serbia and Montenegro. In discussion with the NGO representatives
she showed the data from the research of mental health of the
citizens and emphasized its importance, so the country could stay
stable.
HRH Princess Katherine ended this meeting saying, “Healthy
country has healthy economy”. HRH Princess Katherine warmly thanked
to Mr. Harald Hirchhofer and Mrs. Dusica Lecic Tosevski on their
speech and their productive discussions with the NGO
representatives.
Next NGO meeting is scheduled for 11th November 2004, 10 AM.
