STATEMENT by
H.R.H. CROWN PRINCE
A L E X A N D E R
on today’s tragedy in Kosovo
It is with great sorrow and resentment that I learnt about today’s terrorist
act by Albanian terrorists. Planting bombs in buses and kidnapping
people cannot be regarded as method of political struggle nor way to achieve
political and national interests. Those are crimes, which have to be condemned
clearly, precisely and without political circumspection. Such condemnation
is also expected as minimum human compassion from international factors
who took upon themselves responsibility to protect human lives and dignity
of all, regardless of their ethnic and religious origin, not only in Kosovo
and Metohija, but also in those territories outside this province, in which
aggression and vandalism have been supported and armed right from the territory
under their control.
I condemn all terrorist acts as a crime against humanity. Any individual
who commits a crime against humanity must pay for their crimes according
to the law.
I express my condolences to the families of all those killed and wish
a speedy recovery to those wounded.
